Just over three weeks ago, at the end of May, I bought a book, as directed by him. So, it’s a concertino, which is a short, compact concerto. Now, what’s that, you may be wondering… Well, it’s a classical music composition that features a solo instrument (such as a piano or violin) accompanied by a full orchestra.

The concertino was damn near impossible to play in the beginning, but I kept trying, and he kept teaching me how to play it. Today, after three weeks (6x40min lessons plus practice), I managed to finish the first page! It’s not an easy piece as it has the third position, but after a lot of practice, it really isn’t that bad! It’s reading the notes, finding the correct finger, and placing it in tune, which is difficult, especially in the third position!

I’ll let you know how it goes!
