So, Tuesday was my last RAD Grade 4 ballet class before the summer break. Funnily enough, I had the same substitute teacher as I had for the Rambert Grades class last Saturday. It was a good class. She was really hands-on (as was the normal teacher last week), which was good. She got us to repeat things individually and gave us tips. I left feeling like I had learned something.

Oh, the regular teacher (the school’s director) was doing quality assurance of another teacher’s teaching, so that’s why we had a substitute.

For so many years now, I’ve been wanting to do classes with a certain community centre. Classes are dirt cheap, but the “me” before the current “me” would fear leaving the house! So I never enrolled.

Anyway, I’m seriously thinking about enrolling on two ballet courses and a contemporary course.

Oh, an update on Rambert Grades. I’m not going to sign up. I actually want my Saturdays free. But I am thinking of joining this community centre’s contemporary class instead. Both the ballet and contemporary dance classes are “all levels”. Hopefully, the students aren’t too advanced for me. But if they are, it should be a step up from absolute beginner. I would like to feel challenged.
