Today, I finally bought an online series teaching Suzuki violin from book one to book three! I’ve been eyeing it for a while, but it was on discount, so I bought it. She goes through each piece and explains how to play them.
I remember one of my violin teachers taught Suzuki, and I found it so hard (it was pieces from book one).
But I’ve progressed so much, and I believe I can now learn them without getting a headache!
I just hope I log on and practice, because I have this thing where I buy things online (or DVDs, e.g., dance/yoga/Pilates/fitness) and never actually do/complete them!
I looked at the first pieces, and there are several variations of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Very basic. But basic isn’t bad. You can still learn to play basic things beautifully!
I actually haven’t updated you about my current violin teacher. Well, we started grade 2 last month! I remember just a few months ago, I could kind of play grade 2, but not well at all, and I found it hard to even get started and get through a piece! I’ve actually been managing, and I’m doing quite well! I’ll write more about it later.
